The Cuban Celebration 'n the Cafe, Tuesday February 22, 2011

Start La Semana Cubana, Yemaya in the Cafe with conjunction with Las Positas College week long celebration.

The Cafe will serve an entree of a Cuban-style chicken with garlic, onions and a refreshing orange-lemon sauce.  Black beans and rice included.

There will also be "Cocoadawn" Cuban salad of romaine lettuce, avocado, black beans, pineapple and chicken or tofu.

The Cafe's Newest Student Cashier - Ibrahima Maiga

Ibrahima Maiga is the Cafe's newest international student employee.  Ibrahima is a Cashier and he works during the lunch and afternoon periods.  Ibrahima comes from the Republic of Mali located in Africa.  He speaks French.  At Las Positas College Ibrahima is actively involved with the International Student Program.  He hopes to continue with graduate work at a major university.

The Cafe is looking for a part-time, non student cashier for the morning shift: 7:00 am. - 2:00 pm. Mondays to Thursdays.  Cashier Experience is preferred. This is a part-time position 24-30 hours per week, salary depending upon experience. Person is off Fridays, weekends, holidays and the summer. Uniform is provided.
No benefits.
